Lotto: West Australian takes home $63 million in $120 million Powerball

One lucky ticket holder in WA claimed more than $63 million in last night’s Powerball as two winners claimed a share of the staggering $127 million jackpot.

In total two lucky punters will take home $63,309,057 each after claiming the Division One prize — after matching the seven winning numbers and the Powerball.

It is believed the winning ticket was sold in Kalgoorlie, to a syndicate of 250 people, meaning each person will take home roughly $250,000.

There were also big wins for 20 other WA players, who each claimed more than $77,000 with a Division Two win.

They were among 36 winners of that prize around Australia.

The life-changing win comes after a remarkable run of big prize scalps for WA Lotto players.
