The town council on Tuesday night approved a yearlong deal that will keep trash pickup running on its existing twice-weekly schedule.
Instead of paying $14.38 per month, Jupiter residents will pay $22 each month starting March 1. The difference, $7.62, amounts to a 65% increase.
The deal, more of a forced compromise after weeks of agitation, will allow the town to request proposals
